Erzurum Evleri: ethnic restaurant, must visit when you come to this city

Ethnic restaurant “Erzurum Evleri” is one of the places which must be visited if you come to this city. But it’s not just a nice and authentic restaurant. It looks like museum and represents interior of a typical late Ottoman house for this area. This restaurant is located in the city center and you can find it easily. If you can’t just ask in the Tourist information center.

Menu of “Erzurum Evleri” is not big and contains only local traditional food. Usually it is simple but delicious. Prices are very reasonably but slightly above average. You can choose to sit on the ground (pillows) like local people or around a table if it is more comfortable for you. Also you will listen there original folk music.

“Erzurum Evleri” is a good place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just to drink tea or coffee. In the front of restaurant there is a good parking area. But sometimes they don’t have popular Cağ kebabı which origins from Erzurum province.
